My Story

I immigrated to the United States from Liberia, West Africa in 2002 after many years in the healthcare industry. I wanted the opportunity to build a better life, and I’m grateful that God has blessed me with a beautiful family to join me on this amazing journey.

I received my US citizenship and looked for an opportunity to return to the healthcare industry, into a job that would allow me to help people. I was finally able to join USHealth, a perfect fit for what I love doing. I really like USHealth because they truly do offer the best options for my clients!

Insurance is hard and Thomas stays with you every step of the way, he’ll stick by and do everything he can to help with figuring out insurance. I have a lot of health issues and experienced a crisis where my insurance got cancelled inadvertently and Thomas helped me set up a plan to be in place of how to fix it and a backup plan in case things fell through and I needed new insurance. After that was thankfully resolved, he assisted again when the COBRA insurance extension I was on really did expire so that I had a new plan in place for a seamless transition and no lapse in coverage. He was supportive & compassionate the whole process and puts his clients first! He makes himself available for his clients and treats them like family - one time I called out of the blue with a question in the evening, he picked up and I could hear from the background noise that he was at an event with family & friends but he still picked up and took the time to talk to me & answer my questions and make sure I was helped! Which states do you serve?

I’m licensed to help clients in 32 states, including Virginia, Maryland, Florida, Texas, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and more. While plan availability depends on your state of residence, PPO plans provide access to doctors and hospitals in all 50 states—with no referrals needed—so you can still access in-network care while traveling or working away from home.

Who do you work with?

We work with individuals and families who need clear, reliable health coverage outside of employer plans, as well as self‑employed professionals, freelancers, consultants, and 1099 contractors looking for flexible options. We also support mobile professionals who travel or work across multiple states and require dependable nationwide PPO access, along with small business owners who want to explore coverage solutions for themselves or their teams beyond standard marketplace offerings.

What types of insurance can you help with?

We help clients review health, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance options.

Is this a nationwide plan or state-specific?

Our plans offer nationwide access, so you can use coverage across all 50 states. Plan availability depends on the states where I’m licensed, but the coverage itself is designed to work nationwide for eligible members.

How is this different from marketplace plans?

One key difference is convenience: I can help you compare and coordinate medical, dental, and vision coverage in one place. With marketplace coverage, dental and vision often require separate carriers or extra steps, while here you can review your options together and choose what fits your needs best.

Can I buy just one type of coverage or do I need a package?

You do not need to buy a full package. Coverage is flexible, so you can choose medical, dental, vision, or other eligible options individually based on what you need.

How is your PPO different from a typical PPO?

Many PPO plans are more limited by state or local networks. The PPO options I offer are built for nationwide access, which gives clients more flexibility when they live, work, or travel across state lines.
